Does the Michigan DNR rent ORVs at Silver Lake?

No. The DNR does not rent off-road vehicles. Rentals come from local outfitters near the park, or you can take the guided dune ride instead.

Do I need a permit for Mac Wood's Dune Rides?

No. The guided dune ride runs on a dedicated section of the park and requires no ORV permit of any kind.
